The HTC HD7 is an advanced unit that is one of a recent spate of new styled units from HTC. This particular unit combines a compact handset, with advanced levels of technology and functionality, to offer a unit which will no doubt prove popular with the consumer.
The handsets connectivity provides the user with the means to access a wide variety of systems, including internet access, which utilises the handsets HSDPA or Wi Fi connections, and is able to offer web surfing speeds of up to 7.2 Mbps. The handsets connectivity options also include blue tooth, microUSB, GPRS and EDGE connections.

The unit comes with a speakerphone, which provides effective hands free functionality, in addition to the 3.5 mm audio jack which provides personal listening options, for those who require privacy. The unit comes with vibration and ring alert options whilst also providing the additional benefit of being able to utilise MP3 and WAV files as ringtones. The handset comes with a phone book that provides photo call functionality, in addition to an effective call records feature.
The handsets display screen is a large 4.3 inch S-LCD touch screen that actively displays up to 16 million colours, with ease. This affords the unit the ability to display excellent quality imagery. In addition the unit provides accelerometer and proximity sensors, as standard.
The handset offers an impressive 5.0 megapixel camera that is able to take effective high-quality imagery, by virtue of the auto focus feature, which, in conjunction with geo-tagging and the available dual LED flash, aids the budding photographer. The camera can also be utilised to record video at 720 pixels.
The units functionality is supported by virtue of the 1 GHz processor, which in conjunction with the operating system which is Microsoft Windows phone 7 offers reliability and stability in equal measure. The unit also offers entertainment in the form of an MP4/MP3 music and video player, social media integration, offering Facebook and Twitter functionality as well as a YouTube client. In addition the unit comes with a digital compass, a version of pocket office, a useful voice memo function and satellite navigation.
The HTC HD7, much like the HTC 7 Mozart, is a new breed of mobile phone from HTC, offering exceptional levels of functionality, reliability and stability all within a compact and aesthetically appealing unit.
